Anche il Pauper muove il mercato: “This week in Magic finance shows that Pauper has the power to move the Magic market. The biggest gainer was Merchant Scroll, with the 8th Edition printing jumping 348% to $35 while the cheaper Homelands printing roughly tripled up to $15. The reason for this huge spike is the unbanning of High Tide in Pauper, which has lead to High Tide Combo shooting up to the top of the meta. Merchant Scroll is one of the most important cards in the deck, offering additional copies of High Tide while also finding various finishers and protection spells. My guess is that the card slowly falls from here, but at this point it is clear that it's worth paying attention to future Pauper bans and unbans."
