Complimentia a Fabrizio Campanino con il suo perfect in svizzera, ci vuole più coraggio e cognizione di causa a portare vampiri, che ha vinto meno ma è oggettivamente il mazzo giusto al momento, che ha portare UW, che ha vinto tanto ma è il mazzo sbagliato, sempre al momento. Vediamo ora gli sviluppi che New Phyrexia porterà al nuovo formato. In generale, chi vince con ampio margine (senza una serie infinita di top deck) ha sempre ragione! E Fabrizio ha vinto così, quasi ogni turno con estrema facilità!
Meno del 10% di vampiri componevano il field del torneo, ma il 25% della top8 erano vampiri (e sarebbe stato probabilmente il 50% della top4, se non si fossero incontrati ai quarti) se questo non significa essere il mazzo giusto, non so che altra definizione si può dare. Non come caw-blade, che arriva sempre alle prime posizioni anche per una questione di numero (leggi, se ogni UW incontra un UW in svizzera, ad andare avanti è chiaramente un UW, indipendentemente dalla bontà del mazzo nel formato).
La vera forza di caw blade era il match-up contro valakut, ma ora che valakut non c'è rientrano in gioco un sacco di mazzi che per caw blade sono pressoché imbattibili (tipo vampiri). Aggiungici il 50/50 nei mirror (e non è che il mazzo sia così skill demanding da poter guadagnare ampi margini contro gli oppo più scarsi) e capisci come sia UW a non essere il mazzo giusto. Certo, finché i numeri saranno così alti, ci saranno sempre UW in top8, ma determinare quale dei 60 giocatori su 120 con UW arriverà in top8 è pressoché impossibile.
